Wouldn’t it be nice!  

 
Do you have the same problem as I do in the morning as I stretch out on my 1000 thread Egyptian cotton sheets with 22 carat gold woven directly into the fabric and my initials embroidered on every one..in gold of course.. beneath a beautiful black and gold Versace bedspread!
 
Searching through the wardrobe...Versace...Dolce & Gabbana  Gucci etc., etc., etc.,  It’s a worry, mind boggling, the stress of it all... and that's even before I leave the bedroom!
 
Then there’s the complete range of Christian Louboutin shoes to select from just to complete the look... my favourite brand..some too spikey...some not spikey enough ( if you know men's Christian Louboutin shoes you will know what I mean). Mind boggling isn't it! Dressy or casual Mmmm Maybe casual today!
 
Then there’s what car to drive today from the selection of keys on the rack. I usually just close my eyes and surprise myself! One rack for convertibles of course...it’s easier that way to keep them separate.  One selection for sunny days and one for others...as I leave my luxury penthouse for brunch with like minded people...or maybe hop aboard my yacht for a cruise out along the Broadwater and just drop anchor to enjoy a catered lunch.
 
Wouldn’t it be nice! What fun to dream! Yes it would and I wouldn’t worry at all. Maybe worry about losing it all and having to shop at a discount store after all that!
 
There are many in the situation I would have no problem being a part of. We can always dream can’t we and that costs nothing and I would make sure to help those less fortunate but pay them out of the interest earned from investments. Then it’s always there for perpetuity to help others long after I have left this mortal coil. (What on earth is a mortal coil...I have no idea!)
 
Those that say money doesn't make you happy...I’m sure have never had the money, with the chance of being even more happy than they usually are, in the first place.
 
The choice to take a private jet rather than line up with everyone and pack into the cheap seats and having the choice to fly anywhere in the world on a whim and stay at the very best hotels. Best seats in any restaurant and people at your beck and call. The maid or manservant to wait on your every need and never having to shop or do housework again. Or having someone else to sort out the bills and pay them. Dream on!
 
But money doesn’t make you happy...oh please!
 
Maybe everything in moderation is the answer....

Trouble at both ends of the scale......

Firstly //    It's called "elder abuse" and it seems to be growing for some unexplainable reason.  In some cases it's neglect...pure and simple... but in most it's stealing money that isn't yours from parents that are not able to look after themselves, or their money, properly. Often without them even knowing until it's far too late. Maybe as money becomes tighter for some...but even then that's no excuse!  Just reading about a case locally where a son living in another state stole...yes stole... over a million dollars from his elderly mother. Transferring the money from her account over a period of a few years and also used her debit card in unauthorised purchases for his own use. Leaving her with very little in her bank account to survive. She had no idea until it was almost all gone. Really who can you trust if you can't trust your own family...beyond belief really isn't it but it seems this is a common occurrence. More common than we think.

Just day dreaming....

  Just a pleasant quiet place I like to sit and ponder on things. Where I've been, where I'm going, you know the usual stuff. Watching the world go by as I sit under the shade of a tree listening to the birds singing and appreciating life around me. It's been a long and often bumpy ride to where I am today and who knows what tomorrow may bring. All good things we hope. That's what I always say anyway...as I buy another lottery ticket!😊 There always has to be something to look forward to or what's the point.  There is so much sadness in the world right now I know. Has there ever been a time when there wasn't any sadness in the world. If there was, I can't remember just when. There are people still preaching the end of the world as we know it and the doomsday clock, as it's called, is ever approaching the bewitching hour. Should we be nervous...should we be scared? I guess so but we seem to have been living "on the edge" for so long now I guess

On a lighter note...

 Do you talk to your pet? Of course you do, everyone does, although some would not admit to it 😃 "How did you sleep?...have any dreams?" I ask as I uncover my parrot...YES parrot!! I know..I know..but we all do it 😏 "Just going out now...see you soon", as I leave the apartment, I call to a bewildered looking bird alone in her cage..sorry house...don't like the term cage...think I have mentioned that before. On return "Hello love👋👋," and met with screams of welcome home or in bird language it could just  mean ...LET ME OUT.....LET ME OUT you idiot leaving me alone...what are you thinking...expletive..expletive!!  Which of course I obey and once the welcome scratches and more talking has taken place, she takes up residence on the bed...or the lounge...or the drawer, whichever is the preference that moment.
