Right Wing Commentators....


I have to admit how surprised I am at comments coming from some of  the right wing groups and one commentator especially on U.S. TV supporting Russia and President Putin.

It's well known and widely reported that a commentator on Fox news in the U.S,  has been saying the "right things" to please Russia so much that they have even been translated and shown on Russian state TV to be used as propaganda against the west.

Does anyone think this is okay? Surely even the far right in politics..I mean..how can they support what is happening at the moment in Ukraine? There are plenty of them it seems.

As a person on Twitter just said has anyone ever noticed that this commentator hardly ever shows any support or solidarity with Ukraine. Which seems strange on an American TV show?

It's quite unbelievable to me. How can that possibly be allowed? Where is the outrage against these commentators and why are they allowed to broadcast this. I know free speech and all that but even so there has to be a limit. Surely even free speech, when it goes against your own countries views, is wrong.

It's the same here in Australia with some of the right wing groups why only yesterday I watched a rather disturbing video on Twitter, and today I can't seem to find it it could have been taken down,  but it was this quite large group of people and the speaker talking about the Nazis in Ukraine and how the people of Ukraine are killing them and burying them by the hundreds. In general it was on the side of the Russians in Ukraine.

I would think they could have been placed on a special watch by the government here by now anyway...at least I hope so!

A week or so ago I remember reading about a group of "proud boys" in the U.S. as they are known (!) were going to make their way to Poland and across to Ukraine to fight WITH.. not against.. the Russians.

On our local version of Fox TV we have SKY and I have seen commentators there continually speaking against and laughing...literally laughing at the U.S. President Biden and jump on any mistake he may make or a stumble. This is just so wrong. He was democratically elected and no matter what side of politics support should be shown to the President of The United States not laugh at him.

Enemies of the west must be so pleased...

Trouble at both ends of the scale......

Firstly //    It's called "elder abuse" and it seems to be growing for some unexplainable reason.  In some cases it's neglect...pure and simple... but in most it's stealing money that isn't yours from parents that are not able to look after themselves, or their money, properly. Often without them even knowing until it's far too late. Maybe as money becomes tighter for some...but even then that's no excuse!  Just reading about a case locally where a son living in another state stole...yes stole... over a million dollars from his elderly mother. Transferring the money from her account over a period of a few years and also used her debit card in unauthorised purchases for his own use. Leaving her with very little in her bank account to survive. She had no idea until it was almost all gone. Really who can you trust if you can't trust your own family...beyond belief really isn't it but it seems this is a common occurrence. More common than we think.

Just day dreaming....

  Just a pleasant quiet place I like to sit and ponder on things. Where I've been, where I'm going, you know the usual stuff. Watching the world go by as I sit under the shade of a tree listening to the birds singing and appreciating life around me. It's been a long and often bumpy ride to where I am today and who knows what tomorrow may bring. All good things we hope. That's what I always say anyway...as I buy another lottery ticket!😊 There always has to be something to look forward to or what's the point.  There is so much sadness in the world right now I know. Has there ever been a time when there wasn't any sadness in the world. If there was, I can't remember just when. There are people still preaching the end of the world as we know it and the doomsday clock, as it's called, is ever approaching the bewitching hour. Should we be nervous...should we be scared? I guess so but we seem to have been living "on the edge" for so long now I guess

On a lighter note...

 Do you talk to your pet? Of course you do, everyone does, although some would not admit to it 😃 "How did you sleep?...have any dreams?" I ask as I uncover my parrot...YES parrot!! I know..I know..but we all do it 😏 "Just going out now...see you soon", as I leave the apartment, I call to a bewildered looking bird alone in her cage..sorry house...don't like the term cage...think I have mentioned that before. On return "Hello love👋👋," and met with screams of welcome home or in bird language it could just  mean ...LET ME OUT.....LET ME OUT you idiot leaving me alone...what are you thinking...expletive..expletive!!  Which of course I obey and once the welcome scratches and more talking has taken place, she takes up residence on the bed...or the lounge...or the drawer, whichever is the preference that moment.
