Kim or maybe Katy?


There is confusion in paradise!

Is it Kim Kardashian or could it possibly be Katy Perry with partner Orlando Bloom???

For those eager to know...and I guess there may be some... it is "rumoured" ..KK is staying in Australia..that's Kim Kardashian.or as they stated in todays local newspaper "temporarily re-locating" for a spell while her friend, partner, Pete Davidson films scenes for a Hollywood comedy titled 'Wizards' being made here in Australia.

That's one version anyway...but just read that Kim is supposed to still be in the U.S. with her children at this time so the mystery deepens?

This all started this morning when a cafe owner in Cairns, north Queensland, stated in the local paper that a security detail arrived at his business and asked if he had room for a couple of private guests who are hoping to take over the inside. Staff were asked to leave mobile phones on the counter. No photo's  please.

He, the cafe owner, then said... in walked Kim and Pete Davidson...but it seems she is not even here I read today in a follow up😕

Attempts by the paper to contact the cafe owner this morning have been unsuccessful.

Katy and Orlando flew in last week to Cairns airport in North Queensland by private jet it is said.

He may have got mixed up "maybe" with Katy and Kim as the last photo I saw of Katy Perry she was blonde..as is Kim now. Who knows??

They "whoever" are "maybe" staying at Bedarra Island,  but they are not allowed to say who holidays there. It is also only "rumoured" to be Bedarra Island.

aaaAHH!!

Very private and referred to as Australia's most unique resort and very luxurious. Comprising of just ten private villas hidden amongst 45 hectares or tropical rainforest...and as it states offering solitude, privacy, and sublime views over the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef..



No paparazzi I guess also..

Sounds amazing doesn't it! Away from everything and very secluded and situated off the coast of Cairns in far north Queensland.

So anyway...someone's here and we hope they are enjoying their stay in Australia...who ever it is!

The farthest north I have been is Hamilton Island and that's beautiful. I can only dream of staying on Bedarra. I could write such glowing things about the place I'm sure ...if given the chance...beg...beg 😀

But doubt if there's any need to promote it as it sounds just perfect and is well known among the jet setters it seems.

Maybe one day I'll be there 🙏



A follow up...This was proved to be false. Just a cafe owner trying for free publicity...and it worked!!
K K is not in Australia but Katy Perry and Orland Bloom are. Pete Davidson is...but without Kim Kardashian.

Trouble at both ends of the scale......

Firstly //    It's called "elder abuse" and it seems to be growing for some unexplainable reason.  In some cases it's neglect...pure and simple... but in most it's stealing money that isn't yours from parents that are not able to look after themselves, or their money, properly. Often without them even knowing until it's far too late. Maybe as money becomes tighter for some...but even then that's no excuse!  Just reading about a case locally where a son living in another state stole...yes stole... over a million dollars from his elderly mother. Transferring the money from her account over a period of a few years and also used her debit card in unauthorised purchases for his own use. Leaving her with very little in her bank account to survive. She had no idea until it was almost all gone. Really who can you trust if you can't trust your own family...beyond belief really isn't it but it seems this is a common occurrence. More common than we think.

Just day dreaming....

  Just a pleasant quiet place I like to sit and ponder on things. Where I've been, where I'm going, you know the usual stuff. Watching the world go by as I sit under the shade of a tree listening to the birds singing and appreciating life around me. It's been a long and often bumpy ride to where I am today and who knows what tomorrow may bring. All good things we hope. That's what I always say anyway...as I buy another lottery ticket!😊 There always has to be something to look forward to or what's the point.  There is so much sadness in the world right now I know. Has there ever been a time when there wasn't any sadness in the world. If there was, I can't remember just when. There are people still preaching the end of the world as we know it and the doomsday clock, as it's called, is ever approaching the bewitching hour. Should we be nervous...should we be scared? I guess so but we seem to have been living "on the edge" for so long now I guess

On a lighter note...

 Do you talk to your pet? Of course you do, everyone does, although some would not admit to it 😃 "How did you sleep?...have any dreams?" I ask as I uncover my parrot...YES parrot!! I know..I know..but we all do it 😏 "Just going out now...see you soon", as I leave the apartment, I call to a bewildered looking bird alone in her cage..sorry house...don't like the term cage...think I have mentioned that before. On return "Hello love👋👋," and met with screams of welcome home or in bird language it could just  mean ...LET ME OUT.....LET ME OUT you idiot leaving me alone...what are you thinking...expletive..expletive!!  Which of course I obey and once the welcome scratches and more talking has taken place, she takes up residence on the bed...or the lounge...or the drawer, whichever is the preference that moment. It changes constantly and I obey every command.  Well trained...me.. not the bird! Pets...what would life be without them. I know they are sometim
