Don't believe all you see...

Twitter is a minefield!

All the different "tribes" take sides and take aim at the enemy of an opposing view. Guess they feel safer and happier when attacking in force. Feel they have group back-up to their claim.

Where people can say anything...just anything and there is no check..no way of knowing if what is said is true or indeed warranted. It's just an amazing and often frightening free for all of really anything goes.

This is a prime example of what I am talking about. Meghan Markles mother Doria has been photo-shopped to look like a drug dealer. Of course she is not. You can see the original photo and just how easy it is to manipulate..to change a photo. I took this off of twitter just today from one of the anti Meghan and Harry hate sites...and there are plenty believe me!

Why do people do that. Guess they have too much time on their hands...or are just plain jealous 😏




It is so dangerous...so dangerous..and people believe what they see often without question. They should be able to sue them...I think I would ! Maybe it happens so much they don't even know.

I enjoy checking them and asking for facts...which are never forthcoming by the way.

A place where edited versions of the truth are manipulated until someone with the knowledge to question them and actually have the original photo/video clips before they were altered to show the manipulation.

Never trust anything on social media I say. I Just wish more would do the same instead of taking everything they see as gospel.

Trouble at both ends of the scale......

Firstly //    It's called "elder abuse" and it seems to be growing for some unexplainable reason.  In some cases it's neglect...pure and simple... but in most it's stealing money that isn't yours from parents that are not able to look after themselves, or their money, properly. Often without them even knowing until it's far too late. Maybe as money becomes tighter for some...but even then that's no excuse!  Just reading about a case locally where a son living in another state stole...yes stole... over a million dollars from his elderly mother. Transferring the money from her account over a period of a few years and also used her debit card in unauthorised purchases for his own use. Leaving her with very little in her bank account to survive. She had no idea until it was almost all gone. Really who can you trust if you can't trust your own family...beyond belief really isn't it but it seems this is a common occurrence. More common than we think.

Just day dreaming....

  Just a pleasant quiet place I like to sit and ponder on things. Where I've been, where I'm going, you know the usual stuff. Watching the world go by as I sit under the shade of a tree listening to the birds singing and appreciating life around me. It's been a long and often bumpy ride to where I am today and who knows what tomorrow may bring. All good things we hope. That's what I always say anyway...as I buy another lottery ticket!😊 There always has to be something to look forward to or what's the point.  There is so much sadness in the world right now I know. Has there ever been a time when there wasn't any sadness in the world. If there was, I can't remember just when. There are people still preaching the end of the world as we know it and the doomsday clock, as it's called, is ever approaching the bewitching hour. Should we be nervous...should we be scared? I guess so but we seem to have been living "on the edge" for so long now I guess

On a lighter note...

 Do you talk to your pet? Of course you do, everyone does, although some would not admit to it 😃 "How did you sleep?...have any dreams?" I ask as I uncover my parrot...YES parrot!! I know..I know..but we all do it 😏 "Just going out now...see you soon", as I leave the apartment, I call to a bewildered looking bird alone in her cage..sorry house...don't like the term cage...think I have mentioned that before. On return "Hello love👋👋," and met with screams of welcome home or in bird language it could just  mean ...LET ME OUT.....LET ME OUT you idiot leaving me alone...what are you thinking...expletive..expletive!!  Which of course I obey and once the welcome scratches and more talking has taken place, she takes up residence on the bed...or the lounge...or the drawer, whichever is the preference that moment.
